SERNAUTO will organise a Spanish Pavilion at the International Suppliers Fair (IZB), to be held in Wolfsburg (Germany) from 27 to 29 October 2026.

The International Suppliers Fair (IZB) has established itself as one of the most important trade fairs for the automotive supply chain in Germany and across the European Union, with a strong focus on OEMs and suppliers at all levels. The event is held on a biennial basis in Wolfsburg, home to the Volkswagen Group, one of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers.

Originally launched as a sourcing platform for Volkswagen, IZB has evolved into a key international meeting point for vehicle manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers and specialised companies throughout the automotive value chain. Today, it is widely recognised as a strategic forum for business development, innovation and industrial cooperation within the European automotive ecosystem.

In its most recent edition (IZB 2024), the fair welcomed around 40,000 professional visitors and featured more than 840 exhibitors from over 30 countries, highlighting its strong international dimension and its relevance for global suppliers. Major Tier 1 companies and leading industry players were prominently represented, reinforcing IZB’s position as a high-level B2B platform.

Germany is the leading automotive powerhouse within the European Union, ranking first in vehicle production in the euro area and among the top manufacturers worldwide. Annual passenger car production exceeds 3 million units, underlining the scale, technological leadership and industrial strength of the German automotive sector.

IZB represents a strategic opportunity for Spanish automotive companies to gain direct access to OEM purchasing departments, Tier 1 decision-makers and key industrial partners, as well as to explore emerging trends such as electrification, digitalisation, advanced manufacturing processes and future mobility solutions.

SERNAUTO organises the Spanish Pavilion in cooperation with ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, within the framework of the Sectoral Plan. The association offers a turnkey participation service, including exhibition space reservation, stand design and construction, supplier coordination and communication activities, ensuring an efficient and well-structured presence at one of the most strategic automotive supplier events in Europe.
