SERNAUTO will organise a Spanish Pavilion at Automechanika Istanbul (Turkey), to be held from 19 to 22 May 2026.

Automechanika Istanbul is recognised as the leading trade fair for the automotive aftermarket sector in Turkey, Eastern Europe and the wider Eurasian region, including markets such as Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Iran, Iraq, Bulgaria, Romania and other countries within its area of influence.

In its 18th edition, held in 2025, the fair welcomed more than 1,500 exhibitors from 40 countries, spread across 15 exhibition halls. The event attracted over 57,700 visitors, figures in line with pre-pandemic editions, underlining its strong international profile. 55% of visitors were international, coming from 152 countries.

Automechanika Istanbul has established itself as a strategic gateway to the Turkish market and the Eurasian region, offering an excellent platform for direct contact with key aftermarket operators and for the development of commercial and cooperation agreements between companies.

Turkey plays a key role in the global automotive industry. In 2023, it ranked as the 14th largest vehicle manufacturer worldwide and 4th in Europe, with an annual production capacity of around 2 million units and more than 500,000 direct jobs linked to the sector. The country hosts 17 vehicle manufacturing plants, with major OEMs such as Isuzu, Ford Otosan, Hyundai Assan, Toyota, Renault, Mercedes-Benz Türk, MAN Türkiye, Tofaş, Otokar and TEMSA. In addition, Turkey is home to more than 480 Tier 1 suppliers, over 250 multinational companies with local manufacturing operations, and 191 R&D centres.

Approximately 80% of vehicles manufactured in Turkey are exported, with the automotive sector accounting for around 13% of the country’s total exports and approximately 5.5% of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP), reinforcing the attractiveness of the market for Spanish automotive companies.

SERNAUTO offers participating companies a turnkey service, including exhibition space rental, stand design and construction, supplier coordination, on-site support, and joint communication actions, ensuring an efficient and well-coordinated participation at the fair.
