Guardian Automotive, new SERNAUTOs member
Guardian Automotive, new member of SERNAUTO, is a company specialised in high quality automotive glass solutions, a sector in which it has been operating for more than 85 years. The company’s headquarters are in Llodio, where the main production plant is located. Another plant is in Valencia and a logistics warehouse in Karlsruhe, Germany. Guardian Automotive employs 350 people and sells its products in more than 30 countries around the world.
The Llodio facility uses the most advanced technology for all processes involved in the production of automotive glass and is IATF 16949 certified. All glass solutions, including more than 6,000 models of premium laminated windscreens, are manufactured to the highest levels of quality and safety, in accordance with European and international automotive standards.
In May 2020 the company became part of the Swiss investment firm Parter Capital Group. Guardian Automotive is in the midst of a growth process that has been confirmed with an initial €5 million investment in state-of-the-art washing and laminating facilities and automated inspection equipment that will increase efficiency and productivity as well as end-product quality. This will enable Guardian Automotive to enhance and expand its offering in the original equipment and aftermarket.
